All You Magazine

I recently discovered that Wal Mart has a magazine (by the registars) called All You. This magazine is full of very good coupons. Right now there are 5 coupons in there for free Kraft/Nabisco/Oscar Myers products (Crystal Light, Kraft American Cheese, Salad Dressing. Hot Dogs, and Wheat Thins). Each of these is fee with coupon and the purchase of three Kraft/Nabisco/Oscar Myer products, so if you buy 15 packs of kool-aid (they are a Kraft product) then you get lots of extra stuff for free. Macoroni and Cheese would also be a cheap Kraft purchase. Anyway, check out the magazine, it is $1.97. There is also a coupon for $1.00 off any size All laundry detergent (free if you get the travel/trail size) and $1.00 off Kotex which can make it free at Wal Mart, they have some for $1.00. That's just the free stuff in this month's issue (Make Sure that it is August 29th if you want the deals I'm talking about). There's tons of other coupons for other things too.

A Few Things To Get Started

Just to keep spam and annoying calls to a minimum here's some tips

1. Make an extra account through gmail, yahoo, hotmail, etc. That way should something be a little spammy it will go there and not you main email account. I actually have a couple I use.

2. Don't give out you home number use a free online voice mail service like k7.net - here's the sign up link http://fusion.kallback.com/k7/.

Use these when you sign up for freebies, surveys, etc.

Starting With My Favorite Freebie Site

Things have been crazy around here the since I started this so I figure while I have a moment I should write something. So, the best place I know to start is to tell you about my favorite freebie site http://freestufftimes.com/. First off, it is a very nice community of people that almost feel like a bit of a family. Second, Chris, the guy who runs the site is very careful about posting only legit offers. He will let you know if he thinks it might even possibly not be legit. Third, there are tons of links to coupons and lots discussions on the forum that will help you learn what the good deals are and where on any given week. Point being, go for the freebies, stay for the conversation, entertainment, and most importantly learning how to save (and even have fun doing it). If you go to this site my advice to you is after you sign up for a few freebies go visit the forum, just want to make that clear, I feel that that is where the really good information is. Truth is, most of what I've learned I've learned through the forum. Oh and just so you know, most of this stuff does come. If you don't believe me, check out the what I got tab. Most of what you get are really good samples (I can wash my hair and brush my teeth for months). But there are also other nice suprises along the way. I've gotten a couple of 1G flash drives, a nice razor that Tab will get - he's almost ready for it, lots of books, magazines, dvd's, cd's, small things for the kids, etc. Saying that, there are times when things don't show but anything is better than nothing it it makes my weird obsession with checking mail much more enjoyable. You never know what you will find waiting.
